Voter turnout of the citizen voting age population in Travis County was 59% for the 2018 state/gubernatorial election, the highest turnout seen in Travis County in this type of election since tracking of this indicator began.
More votes were cast in the 2018 election than in the previous two elections. 486,616 Travis County residents cast votes last November, an 80% increase over the 2014 election where 270,005 votes were cast.
